The Heat Is On Catering is a company lead by award winning professional Chef James Cuttriss. Stemming from the Niagara Region, with over 20 years fine dining experience in French, Thai, Italian, Southern and Spanish Cuisine and voted Chef Of the Year in his 2 consecutive years of culinary school (2000 & 2001), Chef James loves to blend flavours and colors to create not only fabulous tasting dishes but art.
In 1997 Chef James began his culinary journey, meeting all kinds of people and learning of different job opportunities that the culinary field has to offer. His dream was to one day operate his own restaurant in the Niagara Region. While attending Fanshawe College in London Ontario, he was influenced by his culinary instructors to open up his own catering company, he attended some business courses and learned how to operate a small business. On Feb 6th 2001 the Niagara Region was introduced to "The Heat Is On Catering".
